this both is and isnt art. i cant say for sure cause i cant know what the person with the cam was thinking. many of you have good points. however the human body, both male and female is beautiful (and that includes all the parts we dont feel comfterble with, this isnt my cup of tea, however that doesnt mean its not art. art is a matter of opinion, and everyone is entitled to there own. and even if something seems inapropriate that doesnt mean its not art. the true difference between porn and nude art has nothing to do with the angle or wheather the shot only shows a close up of the genitals, its the intension. if the photographer shot this with the intension of people jacking to it then thats porn, however he he did this because he just thinks that the female organ is beautiful, and inspireing then thats art. i dont like this shot that much because of the way it was done and not because of wat it is of. i do believe that the female genitals are more beautiful and more prescious... not because im a guy or some perv but because of what they do that the male set cannot... and thats create life. yes the male may be nessicary but thats only in humans, the female organs actualy care for the unborn till life begins. now it has happend before that someone has tried taking a shot like this because they believe the female organ is beautiful, but they may have done it wrong, bad angle wrong light, or maby there just an amature, and it came out looking like porn, just because you see a close up of the vagina of a woman whos legs are pulled apart doesnt mean that it is porn, it may just be that they the photographer wanted to show that these things are beautiful and not vulgar unless you make them out to be or portray them as such. and in todays world any photo like this is said to be porn. the female organ in my opinion isnt just the greatest masterpiece of art, it is by far the greatest creator of art and every piece that this organ creates is unique. and special. if this went over anyones head then too bad. my end point is that no one has the right to say that this or anything else isnt art until they them self have reaced into the head of the creator of the piece itself. so unless you are edward or lestat then shut up. if your going to critisize constructively then do so but if your just gonna shit on someones piece and claim to know what they intended, then shove off and dont come back. nothing on this planet (including porn for that matter) isnt art. its all art art isnt defined by popular opinion its defined by one self, by the individual opinion. just cause you or i think something isnt art, doesnt meant its not.. even if the whole world aggrees.
